The 12th Annual Rocky Mountain Sustainable Living Fair is almost here!
On September 17th & 18th the Rocky Mountain Sustainable Living Association will host the Fair at Legacy Park in Fort Collins. The Sustainable Living Fair is full of educational resources on renewable energy, alternative transportation, sustainable agriculture, green building, natural health, environmental & social responsibility, local economies and more. The Fair is an event for the whole family full of workshops, exhibitors, beer gardens, local food, natural health & healing and so much more.
The Festival Mainstage features live music from local groups:
Ram Nation Native American Drum
Fale’ – African Fusion Drum and Dance
Papagoya
Kalliope
Musketeer Gripweed
The Holler
Vincent Burkardt, host of KRFC’s Rhythms of Youth, will moderate a mainstage discussion about sustainability between two generations: Alec Loorz, a 17 year old environmental hero and Sheryl Lee, actress turned Earth-healer. 2:00 pm Sat.

Alec Loorz – Kids vs. Global Warming
Sheryl Lee – Actress and healthy living and healing enthusiast
Lori Ryker – Author of Off the Grid
Shannon Hayes – farmer and autor of Radical Homemaders
Other mainstage attractions include 10:00 am Morning Yoga, Mama Said Sew Fashion Show, Awards Presentations, and Belly Dancing.
This 2- day event will kick off with a Blue and Green Ball on Friday September 16th at the Center for Fine Art and Photography. This chartable gala encourages you to wear re-fashionable blue & green attire and support the Sustainable Living Fair. There will be special guests, live music and hand crafted-brews and wine.
