Continuing KRFC’s tradition of presenting great live music in the community, we present two front-range favorites on November 12th, 2011.

Good Gravy’s flavor can be described as a contemporary approach to American roots music or Americana. Within their recipe, are the remnants of bluegrass, rock, folk, jazz, and even caribbean music. This band has an eclectic earthy palette that is even furthered by the use of improvisation, a hard driving rhythm section, and occasional electric instrumentation.

Springdale Quartet, hailing from Boulder, are a perfect compliment for this line-up. Evoking the traditions of jazz and blues, their sound blends heavy organ, upbeat funk and progressive rock into a highly-danceable style that is both uniquely their own, and distinctly Colorado born.

KRFC’s own Vincent Burkardt and Andrew Schneider will be out at Grant Family Farms on October 1st and 2nd to introduce bands and give away KRFC apparel at the 2011 Harvestival.

Harvestival is two days of music, speakers, workshops, food, our beer and wine garden, and fun activities for the kids. The event is held on beautiful Grant Family Farms in Wellington, Colorado. 1020 WCR 72 Wellington, Co 80549. *Reduce Reuse Recycle!  Grant Family Farms CSA is working to reduce the waste at their Farm events and are proud to offer a $2 discount off entrance for those of you who bring your own plate and utensils for your food at Harvestival 2011.  You may also consider bringing tupperware rather than a plate as it is easier to transport and more durable.
