KRFC in the Community – Harvestival 2011

KRFC’s own Vincent Burkardt and Andrew Schneider will be out at Grant Family Farms on October 1st and 2nd to introduce bands and give away KRFC apparel at the 2011 Harvestival.

WHEN?

Saturday October 1st from 10am – 8pm
Sunday October 2nd from 10am – 4pm

Harvestival is two days of music, speakers, workshops, food, our beer and wine garden, and fun activities for the kids. The event is held on beautiful Grant Family Farms in Wellington, Colorado. 1020 WCR 72 Wellington, Co 80549. Purchase Tickets. Kids under 14 get in free. No Dogs please (they will have all the other farm animals out).

Saturday

Sunday 2-2:45pm: Temple Grandin, an American doctor of animal science and professor at Colorado State University, bestselling author, and consultant to the livestock industry on animal behavior.

*Reduce Reuse Recycle!  Grant Family Farms CSA is working to reduce the waste at their Farm events and are proud to offer a $2 discount off entrance for those of you who bring your own plate and utensils for your food at Harvestival 2011.  You may also consider bringing tupperware rather than a plate as it is easier to transport and more durable.

*Free shuttle from Downtown Fort Collins will run on Saturday afternoon only
Leaving the Lyric Cinema Cafe at 300 East Mountain at the following times: Saturday only - 12:30, 2:00, 3:30, and 5:00pm (FYI - this will be a quick stop in the street so please be aware and on time)

Leaving Harvestival on Saturday only at 1:15, 2:45, 4:15, 5:45, 7:00 and 8:30pm
