If you missed Michael’s interview with Will Whirty last week on side A of the Flipside, you still have a chance to get to know him through a playlist he has put together to share with us this week here on Side B. After a 38 year career with the City Fort Collins, Will retired as Manager of the Parks Department where he was responsible for not just our beautiful parks, but for festivals, downtown flowers, golf courses, median plantings, the cemetery, and bike trails. Last week’s conversation covered everything from his interests in native rock art, fly-fishing, and writing poetry to, of course, the importance of music in his life. Will has always had a deep affection for the American West and loves great storytelling – you can see it, or should we say hear it, in his playlist!
