Join Poudre River Public Libraries for the Friday Night Writes Poetry Slam, a program in celebration of National Poetry Month. The Slam is Friday, April 27 from 6:30-8:30 p.m. at Harmony Library. All ages are welcome!

Poets who wish to compete must register ahead of time (call the Answer Center at 970-221-6740). Registrations begins April 13 and ends April 26 at 5:00 PM

Poets should prepare 1-2 original poems that can be performed in under 3 minutes. The competition will be split into two age groups: teens (12-17) and adults (18 and up). Prizes will be awarded to the top 2 performers in each group and all poets will have their work published in an ebook through the library’s self-publishing platform. Audience participation is highly encouraged!
