All KRFC Members, Programers and Volunteers are invited to join the KRFC Board of Directors and staff for a celebration of another successful year of local, non-commercial, volunteer powered community radio in Northern Colorado at KRFC’s 2014 Annual Meeting.
KRFC’s 2014 ANNUAL MEETING: DECEMBER 11th at 6:00PM
The meeting will feature special recognition awards for KRFC volunteers, a report on the State of the Station and the election of the proposed slate of new board members. There will be food and drinks as well provided by KRFC and the Board of Directors.
Parking is free in the Lory Student Center parking lot after 4:00 PM on Fridays and all day on Saturday and Sunday.

Official invitations to KRFC’s annual meeting on December 11th have been mailed to current members. One of the objectives of the annual meeting is the election of new board members.
Candidates on the slate for this election cycle:
Kevin Adams has lived in the Fort Collins community for the past four years. He has experience on a board of directors serving to create support for environmental conservation and brain injury awareness. An avid music fan, he writes reviews for a variety of blogs that include Colorado-based media outlets. Kevin has covered several local events. One of his favorite festivals is the Bohemian Nights at NewWestFest! In addition to music, he enjoys volunteering for outdoor trail maintenance projects on Colorado 14ers. Currently, he works as a marketing manager with Sierra Trading Post where he has contributed to establishing the Corporate Stewardship program. Kevin hopes to work closely with members of KRFC to promote the mission and values within our community. If you see him at the annual meeting, please say “hello!”
James Orr is a Fort Collins based Realtor and real estate business owner. He is active in the Northern Colorado real estate investor community where he has run a not-for-profit educational club for investors since 2003. James is also active in the Fort Collins Area Chamber of Commerce on the Red Carpet Committee among other roles. His focus has been helping local business owners become better entrepreneurs through small group meetings and he is always looking for opportunities to serve the local community.
Kate Hawthorne (renewing)
Kate Hawthorne has spent her career in and around the noble profession of journalism. A resident of Fort Collins since 2001, she is currently employed as the Communications Coordinator and Editor, External Relations at Colorado State University. Kate has volunteered with the station off and on since it went on the air, writing for Rabbit Hole Radio in the early days, and answering phones. She hopes to bring her in-depth knowledge of the local business community and communications skills to the KRFC board. Kate is married to Bill Jeracki, partner in Orthotic Prosthetic Solutions Inc. in Fort Collins.
