KRFC's 22nd Annual Birthday Bash

Last summer, KRFC 88.9 FM marked a major milestone with our 22nd Annual Birthday Bash, a celebration that brought together more than 1,800 friends, listeners, and supporters for a full day of community connection. From morning through late evening—over 10+ hours of music, conversation, and shared moments—the Bash transformed the space into a vibrant hub of sound, creativity, and local pride.

Across the venue, guests explored experiences curated with care: live performances, craft drinks and bites from local partners, a silent auction, and chances to meet the DJs and volunteers who power the station’s more than 10,000 hours of community-driven radio each year.

The day wasn’t just about celebrating a birthday. It was about celebrating you—the people who have kept KRFC thriving for 22 years. Every song played, every conversation shared, and every new connection made honored the collective effort that keeps independent radio alive in Northern Colorado.
