KRFC 88.9 FM Radio Fort Collins & Ginger and Baker Announce Exciting New Partnership Focused on Boosting The NoCo Music Scene

KRFC 88.9 FM Radio Fort Collins will be partnering with Ginger and Baker to help shine a light on the growing Northern Colorado music scene through live performances, recording sessions, and advanced reach for the station.

Ginger and Jack Graham, owners of Ginger and Baker, are passionate about supporting the Fort Collins community and have generously donated $100,000 to KRFC. Their donation will be directed toward KRFC 88.9 FM Radio Fort Collins Power the Tower Campaign. With the adoption of the new tower, the station’s broadcasting power will increase from 3kW to 50kW. The growth in power will reach an additional 63% of the Northern Colorado population.

With this gift, the station has decided to name their most treasured green studio, where “Live @ Lunch is recorded and streamed on-air and online worldwide, “The Ginger and Baker Studio”.

Ginger and Baker will also be adding live music to their menu. Their Sounds of Summer series will offer acoustic music performances on Fridays and Saturdays on their Rooftop Patio, kicking off this Friday Adam Stigall and Saturday with Liz Barnez. KRFC 88.9 FM Radio Fort Collins will be booking all artists at this wonderful downtown venue.

“We’re proud of our building’s 100-year history as a gathering place in Fort Collins and we’re dedicated to furthering our community through local partnerships,” said Ginger Graham. “We’re excited about the opportunity to work with KRFC 88.9 FM Radio Fort Collins to support and promote local talent and help Fort Collins gain more recognition as a leading music venue in the US.”

“We are humbled and grateful for this incredible gift for our new tower that will enhance our reach and signal substantially. The donation provides a large portion of the remaining funds to be raised and the partnership provides Ginger and Baker community support as we help them showcase the Northern Colorado music scene,” said Jen Parker, Executive Director of KRFC 88.9 FM Radio Fort Collins.

Ginger and Baker is located in a historic renovated grain mill that’s become a hub for food and community in the downtown River District. It offers two restaurants along with a rooftop patio, bakery & coffee shop, teaching kitchen, event spaces, market and some of the best pie in Colorado.
