As the population of Northern Colorado grows, we feel a tremendous obligation to serve our community. In order to do that, we need to expand our signal to reach the growing communities of our region. As the voice for Northern Colorado for events, special interests, community affairs, and of course music and the arts, our vision for the future is incredibly bright. Radio Fort Collins is on the brink of big changes, but we need your help!
Let’s Boost Our Fort Collins Radio Signal!
Our current tower allows us to reach a population of 352,000 people in Northern Colorado. But this isn’t enough to reach all the people who call NoCo home. With the total effective radiated power increase, we will move from a 3kW tower to a 50kW tower, and the increase in power will allow our signal to reach a 63% larger population, which equals an additional 227,831 people. This means that KRFC 88.9 FM Radio Fort Collins will be able to reach 579,831 people in Northern Colorado! Without a successful fundraising campaign, we will not be able to make this happen. It not only strengthens your Fort Collins radio station, but also ensures that KRFC 88.9 FM Radio Fort Collins will continue to be the voice of our community and the soundtrack of Northern Colorado. Our goal for the Power the Tower Campaign is to raise $307,000 for to extend the reach of the KRFC 88.9 FM Radio Fort Collins signal along the Front Range and beyond.
