Classics with an Attitude has been on the air since KRFC 88.9 FM Radio Fort Collins started in 2003 and is one of the few shows that has aired for all 15 years. Each show has a different theme, featuring an instrument, region, composer, group, or type of classical music.

Carolyn created Classics with an Attitude when KRFC 88.9 FM Radio Fort Collins first went on the air. Her mother was a pianist and piano teacher who taught her to play when she was just 2-years-old, in an effort to stretch her small hands. Carolyn has played violin & viola, sang, played piano and taught Music Appreciation classes. While living in Southern California, she served on the board of the Pacific Symphony. Carolyn no longer performs, but classical music remains her passion.
