For the first time in 100 years, Denver plays host to the 2008 DEMOCRATIC NATIONAL CONVENTION.
KRFC has been awarded 3 news credentials to the floor of the Pepsi Center to bring our coverage to our listeners! Our KRFC volunteer news team, the 'Newsrangers' - are working hard on plans to bring you the the best information they can, from a local perspective. These dedicated community members, and news volunteers will also be shouldering much of the cost of being at the convention themselves.
Join us on Friday AUG 22 for the *KRFC WEB-MER-SHIP DRIVE* .
This will be a one-day-only fund raising event specifically to help support our volunteers with some of their expenses like gasoline, food, lodging, and batteries for recorders!
